Nobody on either side of my family is Irish but you wouldn’t know it on St. Patrick’s Day.My parents, siblings, children, wife and I all seem to find something green to wear on March 17th. If we didn’t, we would be among the few people in the Western world who did not don a green tie or scarf, shirt or blouse, sweater, or something green in color to celebrate driving the snakes out of Ireland, which is credited to St. Patty. In cities like New York with a large Irish population, bars, pubs and restaurants often serve green beer!In Chicago, a harmless food dye is poured into the Chicago River so it runs green all day.In the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, radio station WCCO claims to be Irish on March 17th by giving its call sign as “WCC O’Radio.”Faith and before, St. Patrick’s Day arrives almost as soon as we settle in after the New Year’s festivities. And many people want in on the fun.
There are a lot of event, civic and promotion organizers that know March 17th means big business:Breweries and distilleries, local bars and chains of restaurants and “Irish pubs,” big cities and small towns that hold parades and festivals, charities and social service organizations that cater to an Irish demographic and use the day to raise donations, and ordinary companies that want to get into the fun. Shamrock pins are handed out to customers, patrons, employees, suppliers, and the general public. A lapel pin lets everybody take pride in their Irish heritage whether it is through birth and ancestry or because of the day on a calendar. All it takes is a four-leaf clover and a bit of PINspiration!
Because we are the most-efficient supplier of custom lapel pins around, shamrock lapel pins as little as 60-cents per pin depending on the quantity, style and size you order. But this is no blarney because we include everything …

Of all of the shamrock pins we've made over the years for customers, my very favorite might be one that we did for an Irish social service club. In the center of the pin was a cutout of a four-leaf closer and around the outside was a charming Irish saying:“May the roof above you never fall in nor those underneath it never fall out.”When you’re beginning your preparation for St. Patrick’s Day and want to learn more about how a custom Shamrock pin can be used to help spread the word about your business, organization or community, feel free to use our online form or speak with an experienced PinProsPlus representative at (801) 544-1005.Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone whether or not you’re Irish!
